Richard Hammond Crashes The Rimac Concept 1

According the The Grand Tour’s Facebook page, Richard Hammond got into a major accident with the Rimac Concept One, but luckily he did not suffer any serious injuries. In a statement Rimac acknowledged the crash, and wished Richard a quick recovery.

According to the post, Hammond crashed the vehicle after completing the Hemberg Hill Climb in Switzerland. He was conscious, talking, and was able to climb out before the vehicle went up in flames. The cause of the accident is not known, and is being investigated. The Rimac Concept One is an electric super car built in Croatia.
