Nissan’s solution to talking & texting while driving is an armrest box. The Signal Shield is only a concept right now, but it is basically a Faraday cage which blocks all incoming signal to your phone. It’s simple, you put your phone in the armrest box, close it & focus on your drive.
In reality, airplane mode does the same thing, however trying to access that on your phone while driving may be a distraction in itself. If you’re like me & get the urge to check your phone when you hear that familiar ping, this may not be such a terrible idea.
