Today the PSA Group (owners of Peugot & Citroen) announced it will be coming back to the USA market, but unfortunately it won’t be to sell cars. A car company not interested in selling cars? Brilliant! What they will be doing is pushing their car sharing services through their mobility brand Free2Move. They will start with travelers using the Los Angeles Airport and will progress to a “larger deployment in the United States”. It appears they do plan to sell cars in the USA eventually based on this quote from the Press release “The following step is to develop mobility solutions with PSA Group’s cars, before marketing vehicles directly in North America…”
Don’t forget, the PSA Group owns Opal too, so if the stars align we may also the opportunity to buy Opal products in the USA as well!
